Role & responsibilities

  • Operate tubular type of stranding machines.
  • Set up machine parameters according to production specifications and wire types.
  • Load wire spools onto machines and ensure proper threading and tension.
  • Monitor the stranding process to ensure wire diameter, lay length, and other specifications are within tolerance.
  • Perform regular checks to maintain product quality.
  • Identify and resolve minor machine issues or report major faults to maintenance.
  • Record production data (length, weight, batch number, etc.) accurately.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use PPE at all times.
  • Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams when needed.

A Stranding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that twists or strands multiple steel wires together. The operator ensures production quality, machine efficiency, and safety during the stranding process.
