Salfie is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil construction projects, with a primary focus on government contracts in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of civil construction projects from initiation to handover, with a special focus on projects awarded by Omani government entities.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations in accordance with contract requirements and Salfie's standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, Omani government processes, and project-specific contractual obligations.
  • Liaise regularly with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor and control project costs, progress, and risks, proactively implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and risk assessments to senior management and government stakeholders.
  • Lead site meetings, oversee quality control, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Resolve technical and contractual issues promptly to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience
     in civil project management within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale civil projects with Oman government clients
     (e.g., MOE, MOH, MOL, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Omani government tendering, project delivery procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing 
    high- to mid-value government projects
     in Oman (OMR 1M+ recommended).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  • Strong network within Omani government entities and local subcontractors.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of on-time/on-budget delivery.
  • Fluent in English.
