Shovel/Payloader/Wheel Loader Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operating wheeled loading shovels to handle materials such as Limestone/dolomite in factory.
• Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards during loading operations
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of loading shovel equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with Operation team to efficiently handle and transport materials and meet the production requirements.
• Reading and interpreting loading plans and material specifications
• Measuring and calculating material volumes for efficient loading
• Executing precise and safe loading and unloading of materials
• Communicating effectively with other equipment operators and site personnel

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in operating wheeled loading shovels or similar heavy machinery
• Proficiency in efficiently loading and moving materials, such as aggregates or bulk goods
• Ability to conduct routine maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on the equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy machinery operation
• Skill in manoeuvring the wheeled loading shovel in various work environments
• Adherence to industry regulations and standards for equipment operation
• Certifications in operating wheeled loading shovels or heavy machinery
