Our firm is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements for our clients. This role is responsible for planning audits, managing fieldwork, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The position reports to the Audit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning of audit engagements, including risk assessment and development of audit programs.
  • Manage audit fieldwork, including supervising staff auditors and reviewing their work.
  • Examine client financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls.
  • Identify and document control deficiencies, audit findings, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed audit workpapers and reports summarizing findings and conclusions.
  • Communicate audit progress and findings to clients and audit management.
  • Ensure audits are completed in accordance with established standards and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior audit staff.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional certification required.
  • Proven work experience as a Senior Auditor or Audit Supervisor in a public accounting firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and auditing standards.
  • Experience with audit software and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and supervisory skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
