Summary:

The 3PL Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics operations by effectively managing the third-party logistics (3PL) providers. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for the 3PL providers, ensuring efficiency, availability and reliable services that support the company's fast-paced food delivery operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the visibility and performance of the logistics with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the logistics and ensure operations excellence.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with 3PL providers to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery that meets the platform's stringent service-level agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze the KPIs related to delivery times, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction to track the performance of the 3PL providers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with the platform's overall business objectives and customer experience goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and the platform's own policies related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and status of the 3PL operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics, resource Allocation or supply chain management
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance management, with the ability to interpret and act on KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with 3PL providers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of logistics technologies and software solutions, including route optimization and inventory management systems.
