We are seeking a highly skilled
Onsite Engineer – Endpoint & OT Security
to join our team in Muscat. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing, monitoring, and enhancing endpoint security solutions within both IT and OT environments. This position requires a hands-on professional with expertise in securing
Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and other OT infrastructure
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain endpoint security solutions, including antivirus and EDR tools.
  • Monitor network and endpoint security systems to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and security assessments.
  • Ensure endpoint systems are configured to meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT, OT, and network teams to integrate endpoint security solutions.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies.
  • Develop and enforce end-user security policies (password management, portable devices usage).
  • Provide training and support to end-users on endpoint security practices.
  • Respond to and participate in
    incident response efforts
    .
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, updates, and issues.
  • Be available onsite
    5 days per week
    , with
    24x7 on-call availability
    during the support period.
  • Support additional system and network troubleshooting tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven 2-3 Years experience in securing
    Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and OT environments
    .
  • Hands-on expertise with endpoint security software, EDR, and application whitelisting for OT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of
    network segmentation
    and securing industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC
  • Familiarity with
    ISA/IEC 62443, APSR CSS Oman
    , and OT cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in
    incident detection, response, and forensic analysis
    .
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, OT, and security teams.

  • Strong communication and training skills to educate staff on endpoint and OT security practices.
