We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of accounting experience and a solid understanding of logistics operations. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and coordinating with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Monitor expenses, invoices, and payments in compliance with company policies.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in logistics/transportation industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP is a plus).
  • Good understanding of logistics costing and processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
