The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager supports the F&B Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting. This role focuses on maintaining high service standards, driving guest satisfaction, managing team performance, and ensuring efficient operations while supporting revenue and cost targets.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Assist in managing daily F&B operations across all outlets, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Supervise and support F&B team members, ensuring consistent performance, grooming, and service delivery
- Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain quality standards in food presentation, hygiene, and service
- Help develop and implement service procedures, training plans, and SOPs
- Support in inventory management, stock control, and procurement processes
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and banquets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
- Contribute to scheduling, staff allocation, and labor cost control
- Assist in budget preparation, revenue tracking, and cost control measures
- Report operational issues, guest feedback, and team performance to the F&B Manager
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in food & beverage, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and F&B best practices
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, F&B Management, or related field preferred
