Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Barista cum Waiter to join our team In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, as well as providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment.

As a Barista, you will prepare various types of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to customer preferences and ensure consistency in taste and presentation. As a Waiter, you will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure that our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
  • Operate and maintain brewing equipment and machines (espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
  • Ensure proper storage of coffee beans and ingredients to maintain freshness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and work area
  • Engage with customers, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu

Waiter Duties:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and ensure all needs are met during their dining experience
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and polite manner
  • Process payments and manage the POS system for billing
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, ensuring tables are reset quickly after guests leave

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a barista and/or waiter is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
