We are seeking a dedicated
Senior Accountant
to join Finance
team
to be part of our success.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Manage international SPVs, ensuring all statutory records, certificates, and filings are up to date through close coordination with trust and corporate service providers.
- Manage aviation financial matters by coordinating with operating partners, for proper cash management.
- Coordinate with UBS for aircraft loan management, including invoice tracking and compliance with loan agreements.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements and MIS reports for a portfolio of international companies and support annual statutory audits with internal and external teams.
- Ensure tax compliance by supporting VAT registrations, filings, and liaising with tax consultants for corporate and investment-related tax matters.
- Support treasury operations, including offshore fund transfers and maintaining liquidity for aircraft and SPV-related obligations.
- Prepare the Net Worth Statement of the Chairman and manage its audit process in collaboration with the finance and audit teams.
- Manage insurance coverage for shareholder assets, directors and officers, ensuring timely updates, renewals, and documentation.
- Assist the legal and shareholder teams with various financial and compliance matters, including documentation, reporting, and ad-hoc support.
Principal Challenges:
- Managing multiple projects and coordinating across multiple countries.
- Communicating and engaging with the different stakeholders.
- Meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to SPVs, and investment holding companies.
- Experience with IFRS and cross-border financial reporting is essential.
- Previous experience in aviation finance or asset management is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Sound understanding of tax and compliance matters related to international investments.
