Sales Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst/ Sales Analyst with strong experience in the FMCG or Retail industry to join our client in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help optimize operations, improve marketing strategies, and support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple retail stores and business systems
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Identify trends and patterns to improve supply chain, sales, and marketing performance
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven improvements
• Support management in strategic decision-making through meaningful insights
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and marketing teams for cross-functional analysis
• Utilize predictive analytics to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels
• Continuously track business performance and prepare regular data summaries and visual presentations

Candidate Requirements

• 25 years of experience as a Data Analyst in FMCG or Retail industry (mandatory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools
• Knowledge of SQL, data cleaning, and data integration is an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to present insights clearly
• Immediate joiner preferred
