We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning Lead "Captain on the ground" to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute advanced cleaning operations across various environments, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and safety are consistently met. Your expertise will not only enhance the operational efficiency but also contribute to a positive and hygienic experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of cleaning specialists to deliver exceptional services in compliance with the company standards.
  • Provide training, support and feedback to team members on best cleaning practices, equipment handling, and safety procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency.
  • Assign duties and roles to cleaning team, monitor progress, and ensure they are carried out expertly.
  • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of cleaning areas to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety and client's requirements.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for site's operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients or stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and for implementing best practices.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential cleaning services.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, and most importantly, lead a team.

Considered an Advantage:

-     Certification in cleaning, hospitality, facilities management or related fields.

-     Experience in specialized cleaning services such as post-construction, deep cleaning, specialized floors, water tanks or high-rise cleaning.

-     Knowledge of cleaning management software, scheduling tools, inventory management systems for supplies and equipment.
