Job Description Van Salesman

Position Title: Van Salesman

Department: Consumer Division

Location: Muscat, Oman

Reporting to: Van Sales Supervisor

Salary - 250 OMR

Job Summary

Responsible for executing daily van sales operations, ensuring full coverage of assigned routes, achieving sales targets, maintaining stock hygiene, collecting payments, and delivering excellent customer service for Nada Happiness products.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure full numeric distribution of MSL (Must Stock List) SKUs across assigned outlets
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets as per route plan
  • Maintain proper stock rotation and minimize expiries
  • Collect payments and submit collections daily as per company policy
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high service levels
  • Maintain van cleanliness, stock accuracy, and proper documentation
  • Report competitor activity and market feedback to supervisor
  • Team Sales Target Achievement: Responsible for ensuring the van sales team meets or exceeds the combined monthly sales targets.
  • MSL Numeric Distribution: Ensure that 90% or more of Must Stock List (MSL) items are available across all assigned outlets.
  • Team Collection Discipline: Oversee daily collection submissions from each van, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Route & Coverage Execution: Guarantee that the daily route plan is executed effectively, with more than 95% outlet coverage.
  • Team KPI Monitoring: Track and report key performance metrics for each van salesman to maintain operational transparency and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years FMCG sales experience , preferably in van sales
  • Valid GCC driving license (mandatory)
  • Basic understanding of stock handling and invoicing
  • Fluency in Arabic/Hindi and basic English
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and punctual with strong work ethicRole & responsibilities
