Job Summary

We are seeking a 
skilled and dedicated Draftsman (Civil & MEP)
 with strong experience in 
2D/3D drafting, civil and MEP coordination, and earthworks (cut & fill) quantity generation
. The role requires both 
office-based drafting
 and 
site coordination
, with readiness to work across multiple project locations in Oman.

Key Responsibilities & Job Requirements

1. Drafting & Design

• Prepare accurate 
  2D and 3D technical drawings
   for:
• Civil works (buildings, infrastructure, roads)
• MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV)
• Produce:
• Floor plans, elevations, sections, schematics
• Shop drawings, coordination drawings, and 
  as-built drawings
• Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes and ensure 
  full coordination between civil and MEP works

2. Coordination & Engineering Interface

• Work closely with:
• Civil and MEP engineers
• Architects and project managers
• Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure 
  system compatibility and clash-free integration
• Support construction teams with accurate and timely drawing updates

3. Earthworks & Quantity Support

• Generate 
  cut & fill quantities
   based on:
• Existing ground levels
• Proposed finished levels
• Approved IFC drawings and survey data
• Prepare and update 
  earthwork calculation sheets and reports
• Support engineers in:
• Basic 
  quantity take-offs
• BOQ and material planning for civil and MEP works

4. QA/QC & Compliance

• Ensure all drawings comply with:
• Approved IFC drawings
• Project specifications and BOQs
• Client, consultant, and authority requirements
• Review drawings for:
• Accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain proper control of:
• Drawing registers
• Revision logs
• Technical documentation

5. Site Support & Field Verification

• Conduct site visits to:
• Verify drawing accuracy against site conditions
• Collect field measurements and data
• Confirm installations align with approved drawings
• Record site observations and update drawings accordingly

6. Mobility & Assignment

• Based in 
  Muscat
  , with 
  transferability to any project location across Oman
• Willing to travel as per project and business requirements

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in:
• Civil Engineering
• Drafting Technology
• or equivalent technical qualification

Required Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years
   experience as a Civil & MEP Draftsman
• Strong exposure to:
• Building, infrastructure, or civil projects
• Oman or GCC project experience is mandatory

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory)
• Experience with 
  Civil 3D or similar software
   for:
• Surface modeling
• Cut & fill quantity calculations
• Strong understanding of:
• Civil and MEP drafting standards
• Earthworks drawings and calculations
• Ability to interpret:
• IFC drawings
• Specifications and BOQs

• Capable of working independently and within a project team
• Willing to perform site-based and office-based duties

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience with 
  as-built drawings and earthwork reconciliation
• Basic knowledge of 
  quantity surveying
• Valid 
  Oman or GCC driving license
• Immediate availability
   or short notice period
