high-performance furnace systems
and other process equipment for the energy and process industries. The selected candidate will be engaged within the
Furnace Division
, with a strong focus on site execution and commissioning activities.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a
Mechanical Completion & Commissioning Engineer
to join an ongoing project in
Marmul, Oman
. The professional will be responsible for overseeing installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, ensuring technical compliance, adherence to HSE standards, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate
    mechanical completion
    activities, including inspections, punch list management, and system handover.
  • Lead
    commissioning operations
    , ensuring safe and efficient start-up of furnace systems.
  • Interface with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and review commissioning documentation, test records, and reports.
  • Guarantee compliance with
    HSE procedures
    and project-specific quality standards.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support during the early operation phase.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Solid experience in
    mechanical completion and commissioning
    in heavy industry, energy, or oil & gas projects.
  • Background in industrial furnaces, thermal systems, or large-scale process equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong site supervision skills and proven track record in international projects.
  • Problem-solving mindset, team coordination skills, and adaptability.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
