A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain qualified staff across all departments.
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and career growth.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal systems.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, motivation, and high performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and operational requirements.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to improve HR processes.
What We need from you:
- High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent
- 2 years' related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred.
- Must speak fluent English
- Other languages may be preferred
