SAP MM Consultant expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM implementation

We have an urgent requirement for SAP MM consultant expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM implementation for our client in Oman

Candidate has to be in Oman on Business Visa and every three months he comes back to India then again go to Oman .

• Experience in custom apps in fiori -- Must 

• End-to-End SAP MM implementation project experience --Must

• Strong experience in SAP MM Tables -Purchase Requisition: EBAN,Purchase Order: EKKO (header), EKPO (item),Goods Receipt: MSEG, MKPF

• Invoice Verification: RBKP, RSEG)--Must

Brief Overview of position

An experienced SAP MM Consultant expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM implementation. Proficient in configuring and optimizing end-to-end relevant management processes, This includes analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, and supporting business users through the entire project lifecycle. The consultant collaborates with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to ensure optimal use of the SAP S/4HANA system to enhance business processes and reporting. Holds SAP MM S4/HANA certification with a strong focus on integrating MM functionalities with other modules like SD, PP, and FICO

SAP S/4HANA MM Configuration:

o   Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA MM functionalities, including material master, vendor master, procurement, inventory management, and stock movements.

o   Configure and enhance procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes, ensuring a streamlined flow from requisition creation to vendor payments.

o   Integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, FICO, and WM to ensure seamless business operations.

Business Process Optimization:

o   Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and provide SAP solutions that address specific business needs.

o   Implement best practices and process optimization strategies in material planning, procurement, and inventory control to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.

·  Data Migration and Integration:

o   Lead data migration activities, ensuring smooth transfer of material and vendor data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.

o   Perform data validation, ensuring high-quality data post-migration.

o   Work on the integration of SAP S/4HANA with external systems, ensuring efficient flow of information.

·  Testing & Support:

o   Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure SAP MM configurations and integrations work as expected.

o   Provide post-implementation support, resolving issues and making necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

o   Assist in end-user training, creating user manuals and system documentation.

·  System Enhancements:

o   Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements based on business needs and feedback.

o   Ensure the system adapts to the latest SAP innovations and version updates,

o   particularly in SAP S/4HANA.

o   ·  Reporting & Analytics:

o   Leverage SAP Fiori for real-time reporting and dashboards.

o   Develop custom reports in SAC and SAP Query for insights into procurement performance, material usage, and inventory turnover.

o   Work with key stakeholders to create actionable insights from SAP MM data.

o   ·  Project Management & Coordination:

o   Collaborate with project managers and other SAP consultants to ensure smooth project execution, adhering to timelines and budget.

o   Provide status updates to stakeholders and assist in managing project risks

• Qulaification & Skill set:

·       MBA / Bachelor's degree in engineering, including IT/ Computer Science or MCA

·       Certification: SAP S/4HANA MM certification

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP configuration tools , Knowledge of Fiori apps is an advantage

·       A minimum of 8 to 10 years of SAP S/4 HANA consulting experience with at least 5 years in SAP S4/HANA MM

· years of hands-on experience implementing S/4HANA projects

SAP MM Expertise:

o   At least 5-8 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and S/4HANA MM configuration and implementation.

o   Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.

o   Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.

Cross-Module Integration:

o   Strong experience in integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules like SD, FICO, PP, and WM.

o   Experience in configuring SAP Fiori apps for procurement and inventory management.

Testing & Documentation:

o   Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

o   Experience in preparing user documentation, training materials, and process flows.

Project Management Skills:

o   Proven ability to manage or coordinate multiple aspects of an SAP MM project from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.

o   Experience working with project management tools and methodologies.

 Communication & Problem-Solving:

o   Strong communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
