Job Title: Electrical & Civil Draftsman – Solar Project

About the Role
We are seeking skilled Electrical and Civil Draftsmen to join our solar project team in Oman. The ideal candidates will have experience in preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for solar PV installations and associated civil and electrical works.
You will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality designs that meet project specifications and Omani standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for solar PV systems (ground mount, rooftop, and carport).
- Develop civil drawings, including foundations, cable trenches, fencing, and site layouts.
- Produce electrical drawings such as single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring schematics, and conduit layouts.
- Update and maintain as-built drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Review technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with Oman's regulations, safety codes, and company standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in drafting (solar or renewable energy projects preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); experience with Revit, SketchUp, or PVsyst is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Omani standards and MEP/civil design codes is a plus.
