Roles and responsibilities

  • Cable Laying - Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber optic Cables, GI & PVC Conduits
  • Cable Terminations and fixing of RJ45 Modules User side and Rack side.
  • Control Panel dressing, labelling and Terminations
  • Handling and utilizing the Tools (Splicing Machine, Fluke Meters, Drilling Machine, Screwdrivers, Spanners, Multi-meter, Safety Harness, Hand gloves & Helmet) as required for the Job.
  • MDF & IDF Rack installation, dressing and Labelling
  • Carry out installations from Schematic and layout drawings
  • Carry out the Hardware level Checklist during preventive Maintenances or Site Acceptance test
  • Dismantle defective equipment
  • Support Engineer while performing System health check during Final Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance & Breakdown calls
  • Follow HSE standards while performing works at site.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma or ITI Certification in Electrical, Electronics & Telecom
  • 3 to 4 years experience in installation of ELV system
  • Hands on experience in UPS and associated Batteries installation and maintenance
  • Able to supervise subcontractor works
  • Should have experience in supervising subcontractor works and reporting progress to Engineer on daily basis
  • Electrical knowledge and experience is a plus
