About the Role:

Ray International Group is seeking a qualified and experienced
HSE Trainer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training programs aligned with industry standards and client requirements.

This position plays a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture, enhancing employee competency, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs (classroom and on-the-job).
  • Conduct courses on Life Saving Rules, Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, Confined Space Entry, JSA/TRA, PPE, and other core safety topics.
  • Develop, review, and update course materials and training modules to align with industry standards.
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and incident reporting training.
  • Assess trainee performance and maintain accurate training records.
  • Support competency development and prepare monthly progress and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
  • Stay updated on latest HSE trends, regulations, and best practices in the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in
    HSE, Fire & Safety, or Engineering
    .
  • 8–10 years of operational HSE experience
    , including leadership roles in oil & gas operations.
  • 4–5 years of training experience
    in the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of
    process safety
    within refinery, midstream, or downstream operations.

Skills & Certifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Certifications such as:
  • Train the Trainer
    or
    IOSH Train the Trainer
  • OPITO Level 3 Assessor Qualification
    (or equivalent)
  • NEBOSH International Diploma
    (preferred)
