Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, located in Muscat, with flexibility for some remote work. The Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, scheduling and supervising maintenance tasks, and managing a team of maintenance professionals to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, and Maintenance Engineering
  • Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance techniques and strategies
  • Experience in Maintenance & Repair activities to ensure optimal operational performance
  • Proficient in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical system issues effectively
  • Ability to lead and manage teams in fast-paced industrial environments
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant industry certifications and prior experience in the oil, gas, or industrial sectors are advantageous
