Job Description – OHL Electrical Engineer (Oman)

We are looking for an experienced OHL Site Engineer – Electrical to join a leading transmission line project in Oman. The candidate will play a key role in supervising and executing overhead transmission line (OHL) works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of the project.

**Responsibilities:


• Supervise daily site activities for overhead line installation and con

struction


• Interpret and review engineering drawings, providing technical guidance to site teams


• Resolve technical issues during installation, stringing, and tower erection


• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and grid codes


• Conduct inspections, toolbox talks, and maintain documentation for audits


• Track project milestones, prepare reports, and monitor manpower/material usage


• Liaise with design engineers, clients, contractors, and local authorities


• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (m

andatory)


• 5–10 years of experience in OHL transmission


• GCC experience preferred


• Strong knowledge of safety compliance, drawings, and project execution
