Pre-Sales Data Centre Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Pre-Sales Data Centre Specialist
to join our Commercial team. This role is pivotal in supporting our customers by designing and presenting tailored data centre solutions that address their most complex infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to qualify opportunities and define solution strategies.
• Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and design solutions covering:
• • Data centre facility design (Tier I–IV)
• • Power & cooling systems (UPS, CRAC, PDUs)
• • Cabling, racks, and white space planning
• • Energy efficiency, redundancy, and hybrid/green data centre solutions
• Prepare and deliver
  proposals, BoMs, and RFP responses
  .
• Conduct
  presentations, demos, and workshops
  to showcase solution capabilities.
• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure seamless handover and delivery.
• Stay up to date on industry trends (edge, hybrid cloud, green data centres) to guide customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA/technical certifications are an advantage).
• 5+ years' experience in pre-sales or solution consulting within data centres or IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of data centre standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE).
• Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, and edge computing architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to bridge business needs with technical design and articulate clear value propositions.
