Senior DevOps Consultant

• Capita Technologies is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Consultant to be based in India, working remotely for US operations.

• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with reusable, secure modules.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and microservice deployments using Helm and Argo CD.

• Configure identity and access management with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and AWS IAM roles.

• Automate build, test, and release workflows in GitLab CI/CD.

• Establish observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog/Sumo Logic.

• Drive release strategies including blue-green, canary, and automated rollback.

• Enforce security, compliance, and least-privilege policies across all environments.

• Optimize platform reliability, performance, and cost (autoscaling, right-sizing, spot usage).

• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and resilience improvements.

• Mentor engineers and enforce DevOps best practices and quality standards.

• Must be immediate joiner, within 2 weeks

• Minimum 10+ years

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a DevOps, system administration.

• Proven track record of managing and maintaining complex software systems and mentoring junior team members.

• Relevant industry certifications :AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD)

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

• Must work remotely in US timings

• Exceptional skills to ensure seamless coordination across development, operations, and QA teams.

• Ability to quickly diagnose complex issues, find root causes, and implement effective solutions in high-pressure situations.

• Provide technical leadership, guide project direction, and mentor junior members of the team

• Proactive to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in a rapidly evolving field.
