Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Mechanic at Majan Mining Company LLC, located in Salalah. The Truck Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. The role requires collaboration with other team members and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in trucks and heavy equipment
• Experience in performing routine maintenance and conducting thorough vehicle inspections
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently
• Skills in replacing faulty parts and ensuring the functionality and safety of vehicles
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards related to truck maintenance
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on heavy equipment maintenance is an advantage
• Relevant technical certifications or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
