Site Engineer

Location: Muscat

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination:

  2. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  3. Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.

  4. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  5. Resource Management:

  6. Ensure availability and proper allocation of resources.

  7. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

  8. Change Management:

  9. Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques.

  10. Measure project performance using tools and techniques, reporting and escalating to management as needed.

  11. Management:

  12. Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  13. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  14. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  15. Documentation:

  16. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  17. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project needs.

  18. MEP drawing preparation and instruction at the site.

  19. Client Interaction:

  20. Meet with clients to gather detailed ordering briefs and clarify project requirements.

  21. Share comprehensive project plans with clients and staff members.

  22. Team Management:

  23. Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

  24. Track project performance to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

  25. Financial Management:

  26. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

  27. Skills & Proficiencies:

  28. Proven working experience in project management.

  29. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

  30. Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

  31. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  32. Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

  33. Additional Skills:

  34. MEP knowledge and drafting skills.

  35. Ability to prepare and instruct MEP drawings at the site.

  36. Skills in developing and tracking budgets, supervision, staffing, process improvement, planning, performance management, inventory control, and verbal communication.
