Welder Technician
We are a welding company based in Muscat and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Technician to join our team. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks such as cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate must have a biometric passport and at least 1-2 years of experience in welding.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the specifications for welding projects
- Select appropriate welding methods and materials based on the project requirements
- Operate welding equipment such as gas or arc welders to join metal parts together
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing welding tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines
Requirements
- Biometric passport is mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in welding
- Knowledge of different types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
Salary
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month based on qualifications and experience.
Location
This position is located in Muscat. However, we welcome applicants from any nationality who have a valid biometric passport.
