Are you a strategic finance leader with deep expertise in treasury and corporate finance? Join a leading international shipping company in Muscat as our Head of Treasury , and play a pivotal role in managing our financial resources, liquidity, and risk exposure to support global operations and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cash flow management across international operations, ensuring liquidity aligns with operational and strategic needs.
- Manage banking relationships locally and internationally, negotiate credit facilities, and optimize financial service agreements.
- Develop and implement funding strategies (debt, equity, and internal financing) to support shipping operations and investments.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to FX exposure, interest rates, and liquidity across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare treasury reports for senior management and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Drive process improvements , implement treasury management systems, and enhance forecasting and financial planning accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CFA/ACCA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, ideally in shipping, logistics, or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, risk management tools , and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills .
- High integrity, accountability, and proven ability to lead teams across multiple functions.
