About the role Our team is growing in Oman and we are looking to hire Civil Engineers to support across Oil and Gas projects.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis for statutory submission. Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards. Provide design sketches and reports for schematic, detailed design development, and construction phases of projects. Liaising with other disciplines to ensure designs are coordinated with other discipline requirements. Prepare requisitions and technical evolution of bids, materials, structures, and equipment sourcing. Understand the Company quality management system and ensure these requirements are met

Candidate Specification

Engineering degree in Civil Engineering with experience in consultancy background preferably in Oil and gas engineering experience in a reputed engineering design company. Experience in front end and detailed design of Oil and gas facilities. Fully conversant with relevant international standards. Extensive knowledge in design of large oil and gas facilities, involving heavy rotating/staticequipment, foundations, facilities, buildings, support structures using computerised tools such as STAAD or Equivalent. Proficient in 3D structural design and analysis software i.e., STAAD Pro, etc. Familiar with the latest design codes of practice such as Eurocodes, American standards etc. Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering and investigation requirements for the detail design. Familiar with BIM tools and delivering projects in BIM. Positivity, Strong desire to learn and support the team to achieve deliverables and milestones. Good communication and coordination skills
