
Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk responsibilities include maintaining books of accounts in accordance with the accounting procedures, policies, and chart of accounts, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Education:Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, or a General Diploma of General Education.
Experience & Skills:Fresh graduates with a Diploma, or 3 years of experience with a General Diploma of General Education.
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages:- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with professionals from other functions or external bodies
- Flexibility with working hours
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Proven ability to generate initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Assist in the compilation of the annual budget, plans, and performance reports
- Assist with external and internal audits
- Support payment execution and follow-up on invoicing and receivables
- Research and resolve customer billing and payment issues
- Verify and record business transactions
- Perform reconciliation, cash, and bank management activities
- Maintain petty cash funds and ensure sufficient funds for daily operations
- Perform ad-hoc activities as required
- Uphold the mission and vision of OCEC
- Develop effective relationships with management, staff, owners, government representatives, business partners, clients, and third-party consultants
- Identify and resolve internal and external cultural and other issues as they arise
- Provide input for reports and correspondence as needed
