Minimum role requirements:

Experience:

  • Lawyer: minimum of 3 years of experience

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to the company by reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering legal guidance on operational and business matters.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance across all company departments, ensuring that Omantel complies with laws and regulations.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring they comply with relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as policies, letters of credit, and other contractual communications.
  • Monitor and address legal concerns raised by business units and ensure that appropriate action is taken to mitigate legal risks.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure legal issues are properly handled and resolved.
  • Supervise legal research and analysis tasks, offering guidance to junior lawyers and other team members in the legal department.
