AC Technician/ Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Conditioning and Electrical Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining AC systems and complex electrical components on a variety of heavy equipment and industrial machinery, including but not limited to Volvo heavy equipment, generators, forklifts, crushers, and Crown equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of both AC refrigeration cycles and intricate electrical systems, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction, repair procedures with Technical degree in the Age group of 30-35.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Diagnostic & Troubleshooting:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on AC systemsto identify refrigerant leaks, component

failures, and electrical issues.

• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems on heavy equipment, generators, forklifts, and crushers,

including wiring, sensors, control modules, and power distribution.

• Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and service manuals to accurately pinpoint problems.

2.Repair & Maintenance:

• Execute repairs on AC systems, including compressor replacement, line repair, condenser/evaporator replacement, and recharging of refrigerants (following all safety and environmental regulations).
• Conduct repairs on electrical components such as starters, alternators,instrumentation, and various electronic controls.

3.Equipment Specialization:

• Demonstrate strong expertise in the electrical and AC systems of Volvo heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, articulated haulers), Experience with Volvo dealer will be an added advantage.
• Possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems in generators (various sizes and types).
• Proficiently service the AC and electrical systems of forklifts & Crown equipment.
• Understand and maintain the electrical requirements of crushers and other aggregate processing machinery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience asAir Conditioning and Electrical Technicianspecifically withVolvo heavy equipment, generators, forklifts, crushers, and Crown equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
    • Relevant technical certification or diploma in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field.
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
        • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
          • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
            • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
