The project:
Be a part of our international consultancy business that spans five global hubs, overseeing work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors.
Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.
You'll be responsible for:

• Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.

• Leading the Controls team, comprising Mace employees and project staff.

• Building and managing the Controls team responsible for functions such as master data set management, benefits realisation, change control, earned value management, interface management, reporting, risk, and schedule management.

• Driving performance in line with the Portfolio drumbeat and governance structure, including reporting.

• Identifying and communicating performance insights to project teams.

• Overseeing performance and continuous improvement of standard processes.

• Training team members in processes and procedures as needed.

• Serving as a client-facing role, presenting to the City SLT, project teams, and supply chains.

• Ensuring all PMO and risk management services within the assigned hub(s) are aligned with best practices and ISO standards.

• Providing expert advice and support across projects within the hub and to other hubs as required.

• Building strong professional relationships with clients and exceeding their expectations.

• Leading the delivery of all technical PMO and project controls services within the assigned hubs, including digital services.

• Contributing to the net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.
