Architect Engineer

The main purpose of the Architect is to develop and review design drawings and renderings, as well as independently review the consultant's design documentation based on development briefs. This role involves all aspects of the architectural process, such as concept design, design development, client and consultant liaison, detailing and documentation, material specification, and project visualization.

Operational
  1. Assist in the preparation and presentation of design reviews using CAD and traditional methods.
  2. Assist in developing innovative contextual design solutions for diverse projects.
  3. Support the design management and consultant teams as required.
  4. Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are met.
  5. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and user groups to understand their requirements and communicate this to the design teams.
  6. Assist in preparing concept designs and development briefs.
  7. Assist in creating and verifying briefing documents.
  8. Review project designs for compliance with specifications and requirements.
  9. Specify materials and equipment.
  10. Assist in procurement and logistics planning.
  11. Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing teams to review design specifications for standards compliance.
  12. Review final project designs to meet client needs and standards.
  13. Perform routine activities as a design professional.
  14. Support the team in achieving objectives and complete tasks accurately.
  15. Seek guidance from managers and foster a team-oriented environment.
  16. Mentor trainees and recent graduates.
  17. Provide reports on site visits and project progress.

Education & Experience

Diploma in Architectural Engineering or Interior Design.

Functional

Ability to visualize and translate design concepts into drawings and renderings, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D-Max, Revit, or Rhinoceros. Business and client-oriented skills are essential.
