To control all general ledger accounting functions leading to satisfactory closure of monthly accounts.

Assists in developing & preparation of monthly financial statements.

To meet local fiscal and statutory reporting deadlines.

Prepare various financial statements and schedules, assist in interim and year-end audits and taxation matters.

Providing expertise relating to accounting principles, concepts, and local fiscal standards and requirements to preparation of the company tax computations and tax returns.

Preparation and handling of various schedules related to fixed assets register including CWIP and depreciation, provisions, accruals and advice the treatment of fixed assets of the Company.

Ensure reconciliation of F/A A/P, A/R, and cash management and payroll modules to General Ledger.

Allocation of Opex to the respective SBU and support departments.

Facilitate statutory audit on required working schedules and confirmations.

Ensure to generate monthly recurring journals to allocate costs for advance payments made to filing station owners and others.

To administer various bank account reconciliation work and drive forward relevant investigations to be responsible for month-end bank reconciliation administration.

Prepare ad-hoc reconciliation and accounts analysis.

To review, identify, and maintain continuous improvement initiatives within the business functionality to ensure operational excellence.

Ensuring compliance with government regulations (such as CMA, MSX, Tax, WHY, VAT, Company Law, AML, Zakat, etc.).

Facilitate the monthly closing activities and evaluation of subsidiaries performance vs budget and prior year.

Analyse financial results each month end and/or quarter as per OOMCO process to prepare monthly reports for the management team, as well as quarterly and year-end financial statements.

Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve internal control, risk management, and financial performance.

Active involvement in implementation of ERP system and any other process optimization initiatives.

Demonstrate a commitment to OOMCO's HSE Policies.

Take positive steps to prevent harm/damage to OOMCO's Staff, Assets, and Reputation.

Ensure compliance with company's standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations.

Participate actively in OOMCO's HSE Management systems.
