As a Barista Assistant, you craft each coffee with passion and precision, turning premium beans into memorable experiences. You'll engage customers with your coffee knowledge, bringing creativity to every cup in our luxury, team-driven environment.

Role Objective:

To provide safe, efficient, and friendly service to all customers as per Management's instructions and Company regulations outlined in the Operations manual.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Set the Standard: Be a role model by adhering to work timings, rules, and regulations, maintaining discipline and professionalism at all times.
  2. Punctuality Matters: Arrive and leave according to the work schedule, without delay.
  3. Professional Appearance: Always wear the clean, ironed company uniform, reflecting pride in your role. Maintain impeccable personal and work hygiene throughout your shift.
  4. Handle Finances Accurately: Count cash and accurately open the sales system each day.
  5. Warm Welcomes: Greet every customer with a smile and make them feel valued upon arrival.
  6. Introduce Our Brand: Present Mahaseel Al Bon services and products to customers, answering their questions with expertise. Receive and deliver orders promptly and accurately, both in-store and to customers in their cars.
  7. Attention to Detail: Carefully take and process customer orders, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
  8. Accurate Transactions: Register orders and payments in the system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  9. Craft Quality: Prepare food and drinks following our recipes, maintaining the highest quality.
  10. Team Spirit: Collaborate with co-workers in a respectful, supportive, and cooperative manner.
  11. Prepare the Café: Turn on lights and electricity, fill and heat kettles, and ensure coffee service is ready.
  12. Stock Management: Order necessary supplies from the Stores Department to keep everything running smoothly.
  13. Calibrate and Quality Check: Regularly calibrate coffee mills and ensure the quality meets our standards.
  14. Equipment Mastery: Have a strong knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues effortlessly. Keep the shop, equipment, and dishes spotless, ensuring a pristine environment.
  15. Provide Seamless Service: Serve customers inside and outside, creating memorable experiences.
  16. Curate Ambiance: Arrange products, equipment, and furniture to reflect our shop's elegance and creativity.
Skills Required:
  1. Coffee Knowledge: Deep understanding of Specialty coffee, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in operating espresso machines and other brewing equipment.
  3. Creativity: Ability to craft unique and visually appealing beverages, including latte art.
  4. Customer Service: Warm, engaging, and able to connect with customers.
  5. Attention to Detail: Precise in measurements, brewing techniques, and presentation.
  6. Time Management: Efficient in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple orders at once.
  7. Teamwork: Collaborative and supportive, working closely with colleagues.
  8. Passion for Coffee: Genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture and sharing that passion with others. Flexible in adjusting to different customer preferences and shop needs.
