Security Infrastructure Implementation & Oversight
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, andlifecycle management of enterprise security tools (e.g., firewalls, endpointprotection, Patch Management, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Email Gateway, PAM).
  • Define and enforce security baselines andhardening standards for IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting andguide IT teams in resolving complex security-related issues.
  • Oversee continuous monitoring of networktraffic, system logs, and security events for anomalies and potentialthreats.
  • Lead response activities for major securityincidents, ensuring investigation, documentation, escalation, and lessonslearned are completed.
  • Conduct or supervise forensic analysis tosupport root cause identification and future prevention
Vulnerability & Risk Management
  • Manage regular vulnerability assessmentsacross systems, applications, and networks, ensuring timely risk remediation.
  • Maintain ownership of the enterprise riskregister for critical assets, working with system owners to close identifiedgaps.
  • Provide senior-level reporting andrecommendations to management on emerging risks and mitigation strategies
Compliance & Policy Enforcement
  • Ensure adherence to internal securitypolicies, CBO regulations, and international frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001,NIST).
  • Act as a key point of contact during internaland external audits, preparing and presenting evidence of controleffectiveness.
  • Guide IT teams in implementing secure codingpractices, access controls, and vendor/third-party risk measures.
  • Maintain and review security documentation,SOPs, and architecture diagrams, ensuring they remain up to date.
  • Prepare and deliver management-level reportson security metrics, vulnerabilities, incidents, and compliance status.
  • Contribute to the development of securityawareness programs and mentor IT staff to elevate security knowledge acrossthe organization.

  • Ensureadherence to the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and industrystandards in all operational activities.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 6 to 8 years of experience in IT security operations, infrastructure protection, or cyber defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and implementing protective measures to secure IT environments. Experience with threat analysis, vulnerability management, and industry best practices is essential to ensure the safety and integrity of organizational assets.
