We are hiring a Business Management Trainee in Muscat Oman for one of the leading luxury retailers in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in managing designated brand portfolios and driving their performance
  • Supporting marketing activations (ATL/BTL) to enhance sales and brand visibility
  • Collaborating with teams to achieve sales targets across brands and markets
  • Tracking sales performance and assisting in planning contingencies for shortfalls
  • Monitoring inventory levels, supporting merchandise ordering, and ensuring ideal stock-to-sales ratios
  • Addressing stock ageing and coordinating inter-store transfers for optimal inventory distribution
  • Assisting in pricing, merchandising, and rolling out brand-specific promotions while analyzing their effectiveness
  • Liaising with brand principals for product updates, new collections, and merchandising tools
  • Conducting market research to monitor and understand industry trends, competitors, and global best practices. Upstreaming these data to the line manager
  • Contributing to marketing campaigns, events, and PR initiatives to boost brand performance
  • Training retail staff on brand knowledge to ensure consistent customer experience
  • Visiting stores to evaluate brand visibility, merchandising, and compliance with standards
  • Researching global trends and providing insights to the line manager
  • Spending time on the shop floor to understand the consumer journey and sharing observations with the line manager

Requirements to apply

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a reputed university
  • A keen interest in brand management, luxury retail, and marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Global exposure is appreciated, fostering a broader understanding of diverse markets and customer bases
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
