Senior Quality Engineer

  • Ensure the definition of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and the preparation and distribution of the plan and procedures for project quality in accordance with the Company Quality Management System.
  • Verify that general project procedures are followed according to the planned times and responsibilities outlined in the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
  • Maintain the integrity of the Company Quality Management System when changes are made to the system for the project.
  • Coordinate activities within the project organization to promote the quality requirements specified by the Client.
  • Monitor and verify the correct implementation of the PQMS through the planning and execution of a quality audit program, considering the status and importance of project processes.
  • Issue and file quality and audit reports in accordance with company procedures, including follow-ups on corrective actions.
  • Conduct external inspections, when required by contract, to assess the Quality Management System of suppliers for project qualification purposes.
  • Manage nonconformities by ensuring responsible functions keep non-conforming products under control.
  • Promote actions to prevent or eliminate potential nonconformities and their causes.
  • Support the Project Lead in relations with the Client and relevant Authorities regarding quality matters.
  • Collect lessons learned systematically from each project to improve processes continually.
  • Prepare quality control specifications for construction works, coordinating checks with Technical Departments and the Client.
  • Issue quality requirements for contractual documents with suppliers and organizations involved in work, including coordinating the issuance of construction quality management and control specifications.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the Quality Management System in line with Client and ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a quality discipline from a recognized international institution. Professional qualification such as CENG, PE, EUR LNG, or equivalent (e.g., CSWIP) is required.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with at least 3 years in a brownfield environment such as refineries, gas plants, or LNG facilities. Full familiarity with Oil & Gas Quality Systems and the rigorous quality procedures outlined under DEP's and QVMS's is essential.
