We have a current opportunity for a Site Quality Lead on a contract basis. The position will be based in Sohar. For further information about this position, please apply.

Accountabilities
  1. The service holder is responsible for coordinating all QA and QC activities during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning, and Installation phases carried out by Contractor and Subcontractors. They must ensure that:
  2. The EPSCCI Contractor Quality Management System is fully developed, established, and maintained in compliance with the EPSCCI Contract and aligned with the Contract Exhibit.
  3. The EPSCC Contractor enforces contractual commitments, properly implements the Contract Quality Plan and Objectives, and performs activities safely, properly, and timely according to Company specifications, design, and codes.
  4. The Project QMS is effectively implemented by Company team members.

The Site Quality Lead shall monitor, instruct, correct, and report on the working practices of the Contractor as necessary. They will liaise actively with the Project Quality Manager and Package Managers and report to the Project Quality Manager, highlighting any concerns encountered during their duties.

The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSSE rules within their area of responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Education to HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the Oil and Gas Industry or fabrication yards, with at least 7 years covering LNG engineering and construction disciplines.
  • Vocational qualifications:
  • IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • A recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification.
  • Certification as a welding inspector / NDT would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent English.
