We are seeking a seasoned Construction Operations Director with over 30 years of proven experience in the construction industry. This executive-level position requires exceptional strategic, operational, and leadership capabilities to manage complex, large-scale construction projects, particularly within the Middle East.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and possess a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction across all construction operations, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.


• Develop and execute operational strategies that drive efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth across diverse construction portfolios.


• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and open communication.


• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and long-term partnerships.


• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and budgeting processes, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and international safety standards.


• Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate project and organizational challenges.


• Mentor, coach, and develop senior operations staff, instilling a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


• Monitor industry trends, technologies, and innovations to maintain a competitive edge and adopt best-in class practices.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is highly advantageous.


• Minimum of 30 years' experience in the construction sector, with significant leadership roles and project delivery in the Middle East.


• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex construction projects from concept to completion.


• Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience


• Deep knowledge of regional construction regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards in the Middle East.


• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and construction software.


• Experience in sustainable construction methodologies and a commitment to environmental best practices.
