• Apply the approved standards, procedures, and schedules to ensure the reliability and integrity of plant equipment and systems in the allocated area.
• Implement scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on relevant equipment, ensuring all work history and data are entered into the CMMS system.
• Generate testing protocols, certificates, and documentation aligned with established standards, linking them to respective equipment within the CMMS.
• Ensure adherence to approved standards, procedures, and schedules for plant reliability and integrity according to company guidelines.
• Place and remove spades, open and close pipe flanges, recognize gasket types, bolts, and nuts.
• Perform flange tightening using hydraulic torquing and tensioning methods.
• Conduct proper slinging and lifting with chain-blocks and small cranes.
• Remove and reinstall rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and mixers.
• Replace mechanical seals in pumps and compressors.
• Obtain rotating equipment machine clearances and dimensional data.
• Hold and carry out all responsibilities associated with PTW certification.
• Work extended hours and respond to call-out duties as required.

• Education: Degree, HND, or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience: Over 8 years in mechanical maintenance within the petrochemical, oil and gas, or power generation industry.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) at IELTS level.
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Windows.
  • Training and experience in the alignment of rotating equipment, including reverse dial gauge alignment and laser alignment.
  • Leadership skills to guide less experienced team members.
  • Ability to properly pull-up and replace gland packing.
