Scope of Position

Spa Therapist is responsible for, but not limited to, performing all spa treatments to guests in a professional and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Support all learning and development activities.
  • Ensure standards of LQE, MOQA, and Forbes are followed consistently.
  • Safeguard stored information and maintain confidentiality of guest, customer, and colleague data.
  • Use of hotel's network and internet must adhere to policies; inappropriate use is grounds for dismissal.
  • Support policies related to Safe, Sound, and Sustainable practices.
  • Comply with MOHG Social Media Policy when publishing content.
  • Promote a harassment and discrimination-free environment.
  • Act as a hotel ambassador at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management.
  • Follow SOPs as taught by Spa Treatments Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and hygienic work area.
  • Provide high standards of service throughout the Spa.
  • Assist in the operations of all spa & wellness departments as required, including treatment rooms, reception, retail, pantry, consultation lounge, thermal & changing facilities, and tea lounges.
  • Ensure cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment rooms.
  • Assist with demonstrations and events.
  • Arrive 15 minutes before shift for preparation.
  • Perform treatments to the highest standards, ensuring guest comfort.
  • Be punctual and review appointments thoroughly.
  • Interact courteously with guests and answer questions.
  • Attend meetings and scheduled training.
  • Report dysfunctional equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies.
