CID Gulf LLC is a joint venture company established by Mr. Najeeb Alkhonji (KHONJI ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY), a Member of Mohamed & Ahmed Alkhonji LLC (MAK), one of the leading technology-based products and services holding in Oman, and Conseil, Ingénierie et Développement (CID), a large Moroccan consultancy engineering firm, operating across the African Continent and the Middle East. The objective of the two partners is to build an Omani consultancy engineering business based on CID experience as a national company created exclusively to tackle the engineering challenges in Morocco and ALKHONJI'S reputation as a well-established Omani holding since 1920 enjoying a leadership position amongst the industries stakeholders and others. CID Gulf LLC is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering firm operating as a regional platform, part of CID International operations in GCC countries, with its head office based in Muscat.

The Role

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to oversee the design and development of a specialized high-tech infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in large-scale, high-security, and aerospace-related facilities, including complex site planning, structural engineering, environmental compliance, and integration of advanced support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and engineering of a large-scale, high-security facility with aerospace applications.
2. Oversee site planning, structural engineering, and utility integration.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
4. Ensure compliance with highly regulated industry standards (FAA, ICAO, OSHA, etc.).
5. Manage environmental and safety considerations, including hazardous material handling.
6. Work closely with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
7. Utilize advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD, GIS) for site analysis and engineering validation.

Ideal Profile

1. 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, aerospace, or high-security projects.
2. Background in civil, structural, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
3. Experience in facilities such as airports, launch sites, military bases, or oil & gas.
4. Knowledge of cryogenic systems, fuel storage, and fire suppression is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for industrial or aerospace facilities.
6. Experience with project management and multidisciplinary coordination.
