IT Support Engineer

Purpose

To provide IT support to SDIC and perform routine functionalities of IT-related matters.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic

• Assist in achieving SDIC's efficiency and effectiveness through development of Information Technology processes & policies.
• Ensure the accessibility of IT functions to all staff.

• Perform routine administrative activities required of an Information Technology professional.
• Support the unit in completing tasks accurately according to objectives.
• Seek support and guidance from the Head.
• Foster a culture of team spirit, cooperation, and continuous self-development within the unit.

• Provide prompt support to staff for any IT-related requirements.
• Assist staff in overcoming daily IT technical issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot phones, computers, printers, access control, and scanners.
• Maintain system inventory and software library.
• Set up new user accounts, computers, smartphone devices, and access cards.
• Implement Windows and other software installations as per SDIC's daily operational requirements.
• Conduct IT induction for newly joined staff.
• Maintain Access and Attendance systems.
• Support SDIC project site offices as required.

• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the department head.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent.
