About The Role

We are seeking a Chief Strategist - Strategy & Innovation to work closely with the Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer (CSIO) in shaping and executing high-level strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the company's innovation framework, business operations, and long-term vision. It is designed as a succession pathway to the CSIO position, equipping the right candidate with leadership skills and strategic expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Support the CSIO in driving corporate strategy, identifying key market trends, and developing competitive growth initiatives.
  2. Innovation & Technology: Foster a culture of innovation, evaluate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Data Analytics), and explore new business opportunities.
  3. Corporate Development & M&A: Engage in mergers, acquisitions, and partnership activities to drive strategic growth.
  4. Branding & Communication: Collaborate on brand positioning, customer engagement, and market perception strategies.
  5. Performance Management: Establish KPIs, track execution of strategic initiatives, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  6. Process Improvement: Contribute to operational excellence by streamlining processes and adopting automation strategies.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including industry leaders and technology partners.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
  1. Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  2. Sector Expertise: 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or corporate development, ideally within the telecom or technology sector.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master's in Innovation/Strategy preferred).
  4. Skills:
    1. Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
    2. Leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
    3. Knowledge of emerging technology trends.
    4. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
