Sales and Marketing Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy that enhances our hotel's presence, voice, and brand awareness in the market.
  • Maximize Revenue Streams: Identify and maximize revenue streams from both international and local markets, and formulate and implement appropriate sales and commercial strategies to drive revenues from the trade and industry segments.
  • Lead Commercial Growth Initiatives: Lead the creation of new commercial growth initiatives and deliver business in high growth sectors.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Offices: Collaborate closely with corporate and regional sales offices to establish measurable targets for the hotel and ensure their successful achievement.
  • Maintain Relationships: Maintain close relationships with key decision-makers both in local and international markets, and meet and entertain influential clients for the hotel.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: At least five years of experience in a similar role within an ultra-luxury brand, with an essential work experience in the Middle East region.
  • Team Management: Experience in leading and managing a sales and marketing team in a similar positioning and size.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and ability to create objectives and make strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional leadership & communication skills, confident, and ability to build relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Self-motivated, well organized, ability to multi-task, and detail-oriented.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understand the non-traditional, experiential approach of a luxury property.
  • Market Knowledge: Must have advanced market and industry knowledge.
  • Selling Skills: Advanced selling skills with familiarity with emotional intelligence.
  • Leadership Skills: Business leadership, cross-cultural work environments exposure, and critical problem analysis/resolution skills.

  • Process Optimization: Optimize work processes, know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
