Senior Designer and Web Developer

Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our company's specifications. You will also work closely with our design and content teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain web applications and websites.
  2. Collaborate with designers to implement website layouts and features.
  3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and usability.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  6. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  7. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Qualifications:

  1. Legally authorized to work in Oman (no visa provided).
  2. Speaks Arabic and English fluently.
  3. Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in web design and web development. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software application development or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  5. Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
  6. Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
  7. Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Ruby) and database management (e.g., MySQL, PLSQL).
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.
  2. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal.
  3. Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools.
  4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
