We are hiring Visual Designers for Brand and Design Systems to join our mission to transform complex, open-source software into efficient, intuitive products that can change how complex systems are built and how open source is perceived. We seek exceptional designers passionate about impacting the lives of engineers, enterprises, entrepreneurs, and consumers daily. These roles are within our central Design team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

The role entails
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of designers on projects that evolve our brand guidelines, and applying them to communications, our UI design system, and digital graphics.
  • Creating clear, stylish presentations that enhance user experience and reach a broad audience.
  • Producing content-focused designs with attention to usability, accessibility, and web standards.
  • Having agency, company, or freelance design experience.

  • Strong academic background from high school and university, or a compelling alternative narrative.
  • Confidence in communicating, exchanging feedback, and sharing ideas.
  • A track record of exceeding expectations and achieving outstanding results.
  • Leadership qualities, commitment to skill development and mentorship.
  • Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
  • Professional English communication skills and excellent presentation abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.

  • Self-motivation, thoughtfulness, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
