Responsibilities and Requirements for Cyber Security Analyst

  1. Robust knowledge of Cybersecurity regulations, standards, and controls.
  2. Fluent in Cyber Incident Detection, Response, and Management.
  3. Strong understanding of ICT, including Hardware, Software, and Networks.
  4. Expertise in preparing and analyzing Cybersecurity reports.
  5. Experience in ICT / Cybersecurity Audit / Compliance / Regulatory discussions.
  6. Professional Certifications: Security+, CCNA, CCNP, NSE4A (preferred).
  7. Collaborative team player who fosters a culture of continuous improvement and empowers team members.
  8. Strong commitment to quality, accountability, and ethical practices in project and change management.
  9. Passion for mentoring and developing talent within cybersecurity functions.
  10. Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in incident handling and reporting.
  3. Professional certifications related to incident response are preferable.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Knowledge of network security zones, firewall configurations, and IDS policies.
  6. Knowledge of system communications from Layer 1 to 7.
  7. Experience with Systems Administration, Middleware, and Application Administration.
  8. Experience with Network and Security tools administration.
  9. Proficiency with log search tools and regular expressions.
  10. Knowledge of packet capture and analysis.
  11. Experience with Security Assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat).
  12. Ability to develop and execute containment strategies.

Minimum of a bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
